Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. This time of year I would like to remind everyone to be the change we would like to see in the world. Below is one of my favorite prayers for inspiration. I recite it out loud every morning, as a reminder to be the best I can. It always fills me with HOPE for the future. It means that I always have new opportunities, new lessons to learn and new areas to grow. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Keep growing today!
Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Is Eco-Friendly A Bag or A Drag?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I am sure everyone has seen or is using recyclable grocery bags. You know those green cube like bags hanging from a display tree in your local grocery store. It took me a good two months to put myself in the habit to always have them where they are handy. I keep two in the car, and always carry one when just walking in the neighborhood. The key to this Eco-friendly bag is accompanied with what I like to call Eco-friendly shopping. By using these bags I have limited space and a limited number of bags so I only buy the essential items not having to waste food that wont be eaten. Making a list is also helpful. Before the Eco bags I just bought stuff. Now I can see a dramatic difference in my shopping habits.
Plastic and Paper Bag Facts to Think About:
- A Plastic bag takes 450 years to biodegrade. Imagine 10 billion of them.
- The production of paper bags causes 70% more pollution than Plastic.
- When plastic degrades it ends up in our oceans. Incidentally, it appears much like a plankton, and is then consumed by fish. Fish eat it, and it winds up on your dinner table.
- The recycling of plastic emits heavy metals into the air causing extreme air pollution.
- An average person will use over 350 bags in a single year!
- In New York City, one less grocery bag per person would reduce waste by five million pounds and save $250,000 in disposal costs!
- In 1999 more than 14 million trees were cut down to produce 10 billion paper bags that were used by Americans that year!
- The recipe for making paper bags starts with 1 part pulp, 400 parts water. What a waste of water!

Just a Thought X: Independence Day
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Today is the 4 of July, lam sure many of you celebrate with the day off from work and maybe a barbecue with family and friends. Everyone enjoys ending the day by watching the night skies light up with the sights and sounds of fireworks so proudly displayed. A reenactment of the battles our soldiers fought so bravely in. They endured all to bring freedom to their land. This was their hight intention. On this 4 of July I want everyone to understand The fight for this freedom was not easy to accomplish. Our forefathers with great intention and perilous action achieved the greatness of being free and with this freedom comes great responsibility. Our founding fathers understood this as our fundamental right. Let us not ever have this right compromised.Namaste,

George Carlin Dead at 71
George Carlin, Legendary comic and writer. Died on Sunday in Santa Monica California, due to heart failure. He was 71 years old. I always have enjoyed his HBO specials. They always had me laughing. Especially the "seven words you cant say on television" that he just said. His comedy was a way for him to express his higher self. He planted seeds of thought in everyone who dare listen, taking aim at social injustice and society itself for all its foibles and hypocrisies. A genus in the understanding of human condition and a pioneer in new entertainment. He will me missed. Namaste,

Lifted Moment 6: How do you know?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I have a question for all of you. How do you know when its time to let go? I don't think I was able to think about this question, let alone have an answer a year ago. I have been gain forward momentum in my practice, and begun to touch that mechanism used in the processing and delivery of letting go. I'm amazed at all the great things that are happening every day. And it all starts by asking myself one questions; How do I feel in this present moment? Within this rather simple question; I can bring a thoughtful answer to any situation. I will never regret a decision made in this moment of silent knowing.

Lifted Moment 5: A New Encounter
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. There are times when negativity and negative thoughts cross my mind. Most of my of my negativity centers around work. Were it breeds like mice in a grain silo. It starts with one thought from one person and that creates another It becomes very easy to be sucked into the frenzy state of being and its only goes downhill from there. Anxiety, stress and physical pain start to manifest themselves. Physical complaints start flowing. As an example of this, Saturday after working very long Friday night prior. I began to experience a pain. The pain began at the sole of my foot and moved up numbing my calf. After an hour or so of complaining to myself and others, building and generating more discomfort as the evening progressed. My mind filled with anxiety and stress of what to do? Worry? And feelings of disguise. My mind started to list everything I was feeling (thinking). Snowballing the very painful leg cramps, into everything I hated about my job, everything I hated about people, every fucked up excuse why is my life is the way it is. This discomfort lasted all night and into Sunday morning. Upon waking I felt exusted, phyicaly drained. I felt I had ran two marathons back to back. My limbs were like jello barley able to lift my head from the pillow, let alone put any weight on the leg. I felt helpless and alone. And in that moment, as I lie their in bed, I began to wonder what was happening? I Asking myself, Is this pain real? Where does this pain come from? How can I rid myself of this discomfort? I started to meditate and used this mantra for the moment. "I am perfect the way God created me". Shortly after in about 20 minutes, the pain began to subside. I was able to bring myself to attention and I started the morning with a walk for a cup of coffee. (this always brings me joy) Than a visit to the tanning salon where I gain the peace and serinety I wish to see in everyone. In that warm and tranquil mediative sun bliss, and for the next 15 minutes I began the same mantra for the day "I am perfect the way God created me". I returned home to take a quick shower and off to work. Late, I was. But with no physical pain. How was that possible? I believe by letting go and letting God was a big transition for the mysterious disappearance of pain. By letting God decide the rest of the day, I surrendered all attempts to control the external world ridding myself of my physical pain. On arriving to work my newly found spirit greeted everyone with wonderment and blessings. I hope this story has been insightful.

Lifted Moment 4: Attention Mean Care
Hey everybody. Its Reggie. Have you every thought why you might not be getting what you deserve. In this supersonic world that we live in were everything was needed yesterday. We tend to disassociate ourselves from the world and the people in it. Many books have been written on time management in order for us to make better use of time and prioritize the importance of tasks at hand. Our lives have been reduced to a blind mechanical processes. We already have lost the human interaction of talking to people with the advent of smart phones, text messaging and high speed Internet email. I'm not saying these forms of communication are not necessary additions to our communication arsenal but there is a generation growing up not understanding the true value of communicating with emotion, void of feeling. How many people do you know write hand written letters it has become an lost art. I would like to introduce the AMC program "Attention Means Care". If you are attentive, things cannot get overlooked. You can stop things by virtue of your own attention and vs versa you can create an abundance of what you desire.

Just a thought VIIII: Control of your Drama
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Do you know you are the creator of all your dramas. You can create good drama or bad drama, but you have to take responsibility for whatever you create. There is never a period in your life that you are a victim. You can just walk out and say "Goodbye, I cant take this misery any more." This action is sometimes easier said than done. Why? Because we procrastinate. We talk about the stress and misery that's in life. And all the talk leads to nothing but more stress and unhappiness. Making one excuse after another for not being happy. When you become one with your inner knowing the decisions become real, fear no longer plays a role in your decision making process. Finding your inner self is more than a secret plan to action but a life long comment to yourself. Your life depends on the change this will happen if you are in control of it or not.Namaste,
Reggie

Know ThySelf
by Alexander Pope
Know then thyself, presume not God to scan;
The proper study of mankind is Man.
Placed on this isthmus of a middle state,
A being darkly wise and rudely great:
With too much knowledge for the Sceptic side,
With too much weakness for the Stoic's pride,
He hangs between; in doubt to act or rest,
In doubt to deem himself a God or Beast,
In doubt his mind or body to prefer;
Born but to die, and reasoning but to err;
Alike in ignorance, his reason such
Whether he thinks too little or too much:
Chaos of thought and passion, all confused;
Still by himself abused, or disabused;
Created half to rise and half to fall;
Great lord of all things, yet a prey to all;
Sole judge of truth, in endless error hurled:
The glory, jest, and riddle of the world!

Just a Thought VII: A lessons to be learned
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I bumped into an old acquaintance today. She gave me a hug and after the how are you doing? How is everyone questions? She began to apologize for being mean to me, when my ex and I were together. She than explained how she was jealous of our relationship. And who was this guy stealing her best friend type of thing. She wanted me to understand that she was not the person she has grown into almost 8 years later. Than I thought to myself, "Maturity brings wisdom?" It just pop in my head. Thinking on this, I came to a few conclusions I will expand on later. One is that Life teaches everyone, however long that may take. I feel we all want the same things out of life. We don't always choose correctly. Even when the choice is clear. The choices we make are arrived by a combination of: Placement = How we are raised. Rich, poor etc. And Self development = The what we do to defend ourselves from the outside world. What the mind does with the order and or lack of it. What walls are put up and aligned in our path. We than all hope that things will change for us expecting a miracle to happen. The dream job to appear, The love of a lifetime to show up, etc. So if what your doing or feeling doesn't ring true than it probably isn't. You owe it to yourself to be true to yourself and than you will get what you desire.gnothi seauton

Lifted Moment 2: A Consciousness Within
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Possibly the best definition of consciousness, I have discovered, is awareness without judgment. Practicing this has help me make a conscious shift in all my relationships with others and myself. That includes judgment of good and bad Important and unimportant Useful and useless. True and false. The beautiful and the ugly. The smart and the ignorant. When we stop judging ourselves. We stop judging others and all of the fear and craving that feeds suffering stops as well. If we try to stop getting caught in the judgment of others without first dropping self-judgment, it will not work. It all starts with consciousness of the self. Make this part of your everyday practice not to judge others and remember also as we dont judge other it equally important to remember "Its non of my business what others think of me". I hope you have found this helpful.

Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another. Read about her story, that's sure inspire and enlighten. Dr Taylor's book. Lifted Moment 1: My Vacation
Hey everybody! Its Reggie. As I sit and write this my vacation is coming to a close. It has been the best two weeks, I truly enjoyed every minute. I ate without guilt, I read and expanded my awareness of truth and rested my over active mind as I sat in contemplative silence and meditated in the mornings and daydreamed of life's journey in the afternoons. I learned to shed the ego like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. At every chance I could, diving deeper into my sense of awareness. Always being present in the NOW. I came to many understandings in this short time. The great debate whether to quit my job or stay has been a tremendous weight on my mind. I play out scenes in my head with the actions and reactions of my employer and I. The environment is such a familiar one that it wants me to participate in this tragic pain body experience of the past. I have come to understand breaking free of this isn't about walking away that would be a reaction. Its about just being present. not reacting from an egoic perceptive. And then taking necessary action to change the situation if that's what I wish. I learned to live with myself. To love myself. I learned to be one with nature taking walks in the park and desiring to have nature walk with me. I brought nature into my home purchased two beautiful pIants. love my plants. I learned to appreciate my animals being in quite observance of them. I learned to love them with my beingness. I love my cats. I created works of art. Paintings, sculptures, and sewing doll came natural to me when I let go of any expected outcome of what the art should look like. I enjoyed giving these creations away only better serves me than to keep them for myself. Sharing my work with others, to brighten and enlighten like they due in me. Some shared inspiration for all.

Just a Thought V: Making Miracles

Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I have read that the hunger for a lost dimension of experience is a natural yearning in all of us, and it doesn't go away because we ignore it. Jesus said that we would someday do even greater works than he; should we not take him at his word? And should not someday be today? It time for us to start working miracles.

For Whom the Bell Tolls
No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manner of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

Words Matter. Hate Matters.
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I would like to thank the few who stumble on to the blog find it in your heart to look, and maybe leave a comment or two. Thank You. The video below was created by my brother Ed. If I may preface this video by saying some of us might have been taught that "sticks and stones may break our bones but names will never harm you". That is not always the case. Words reduce reality to something that the human mind can grasp. Some of the word (thoughts) are and have there own beauty and some are meant to label others for the greater good of the ego, all the fears and anxiety that is contained in them. Word carry a beauty of their own but we don't need to become imprisoned in them.

Eat, Pray, Love

Hey everybody. Its Reggie. The title of the book I just finished. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert Is great! It boasts a woman search for everything as she travels across Italy, India and Indonesia. Elizabeth Gilbert in her early thirties had everything you would expect in this modern era. successful career traveling the world, husband, and a beautiful home with a country setting. but instead of feeling happy and fulfilled, she felt consumed by panic and confusion. It is the story how she left behind these outward markings, and of what she found in their place. This book has some serious stuff in it for you. For me all the bells and whistles went off. That's just what I'm trying to do, find myself. seeking purpose! This book is a great way to begin the process of self actualization. A way to get your feet wet without being a hard to understand self help text. I highly recommend this as a way to break into spirituality. It is filled with many "Ah Ha" moments. I was compelled to pick it up and I couldn't put it down. This was surly the fasted and most enjoyable read to date. As I read the text discovering nuggets of knowledge in between the written lines. Affirmations that I seen in Gilbert's work. I wrote these jewels of inspiration on post-it notes and hung them were I could read. This novel for me was another step to becoming closer to transcendence.

Just a thought IV (Awaking to the Oneness)
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Awaking to the oneness that is within all of us is one of the greatest mysteries. In the past this exercise of enlightenment was reserved for a select few (The Secret). To ponder all of life's mysteries was a privilege. To escape the reality of the normal life and seek deeper answers from our universe. This is a beautiful time to be alive. With a wave of curious seekers more people are waking to to the idea of questioning our social, political, and religious dogma. Opening our minds to the ideologies and filling the empty space with a new found awareness. A transcendence of our own consciousness. We are living in a transformative time and those who don't awaken from their dream will die. Fear, greed and the desire for power are the psychological motivating forces not only behind warfare and violence between nations, tribes, religions and ideologies, but also the cause of incessant conflict in personal relationships. They bring about a distortion in your perception of other people and yourself. Through them, you misinterpret every situation, leading to misguided action designed to rid you of fear and satisfy your need for more. A bottomless hole that can never be filled.Peace,
Reggie

World Water Day
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. As I have opened to becoming more aware. I feel I became part of a larger source, (field of intention) not so wrapped up in my egoic mind. That my day to day existence is not the only important thing to focus all my attention on. Or focusing on the happenings of some celebrity photo hound who has again flashed her good for the paparazzi. Before you get all caught up in your weekend activities, stop for a minute, be in the minute get the bigger picture. Be in gratitude that you can freely enjoy that Poland Spring, Fiji, Deer Park, or just the plain old tap. The fact that we can turn on the faucet and magically your thirst is quenched.That is truly a miracle to behold. World Water Day, occurs each year on March 22nd, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly. This day was first proposed in 1992 and has grown significantly ever since. The UN invites its member nations to devote this day to implementing UN recommendations and promoting concrete activities within their countries. to bring awareness to this global crisis. During the week of World Water Day participating agencies will highlight issues such as:- More than a billion people worldwide are without safe drinking water.
- Water related diseases are the leading cause of death in the world.
- 40 billion hours are lost annually to hauling water, a chore primarily undertaken by women and girls.
- Every 15 seconds a child dies from a preventable, water-related disease.

Marianne Williamson U.S. Dept of PEACE?
Hey everybody! Its Reggie. So what is the Department of Peace? The Department of Peace and Non-violence is a proposed cabinet-level department of the executive branch of the U.S. government. The original idea of a Peace Department in the United States dates back to the administration of George Washington, but has been most recently reinitiated by Rep. Dennis Kucinich's presidential campaign platform in 2004 and 2008. The Peace Alliance organization supports the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace and Non-violence. It is an independent political movement that operates autonomously. The ongoing movement is supported by Kucinich and the author and popular motivational speaker Marianne Williamson. This movement actively lobbies for the endorsements of congressional leaders. If you would like to know more about the Department of Peace. Maybe you would like to get involved in this Worldly endeavor, and maybe forge a new conversation with new hope. for something better might be waiting for whom ever is there to receive it. What Is A Journey?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I was watching some late night TV and caught this commercial. It was filled with cheesy images of female models in remote place in the world. That part wasn't as interesting as the text that appeared fading in and out with each new background. Every line uncovering a piece of the revel. I recently encountered a situation with my Lower Self and this came just in time. So here it is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Its not a vacation.
Its a process. A discovery.
Its a process of self-discovery.
A journey brings us face to face.
A journey shows us not only the world,
but how we fit in it.
Does the person create the journey,
or does the journey create the person?
The journey is life itself.
Where will life take you?

Tales from the coffee shop
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. lam compelled to tell you this just as it happened just a few minutes ago. I started my day just like any other giving thanks, for waking to a new day and being in a state of gratitude. Glancing at my vision board to re-enforce my connection to the universal source of intention, and out the door I went. Having a good cup of coffee was the only thing on my mind; and I could taste it in all its goodness, as I pull up to my usual morning coffee spot. As I sat parked there, a felling came over me. I didn't feel bad. I just felt different. At that moment I couldn't place my finger on the source. Something fimilar but not yet part of my "experience machine". I was debating going to a newly open Starbucks just a few blocks away, that I have seen earlier in the week. My plan was to read for a few hours and this new place that looked quite and maybe would have less distraction. So I continued to the other location. I pulled up to the "Starbucks 2" and parked again, sat in my car and that same feeling came over me. I Decided to return to the Starbucks I always patronize. Thinking about what just transpired over the last 30min or so. Saying to myself "how hard is it to get a cup of coffee" and thinking what an I not doing to not manifest a cup of coffee. I finely settle into my favorite seat next to the "fix in" table thats what I call the counter at this very popular chain of Barista jockeys. I was there maybe for just a few minutes before I hear a conversation between two woman; mother and daughter I think. The daughter in her 20's is saying to her mother "He called me yesterday, he watched this show the secret or something You know the secret, and he believes theres this woman who can cure people with an illnesses like Aids. Huh? I don't know what I going to do with him, I cant be bothered with that "!@#$%". I told him don't you think thats giving people false hope", how. Without thought I was compelled to say outloud "Give it a try, You too can work miracles". Now these two woman looked at me like I had two heads. First I was evesdropping on there conversation and than had the nerve to blert out some wierd mumbo-jumbo that was to instantly enlighten them. It took me a second to relize what I just did. I froze. Our eyes locked onto each others, and the only thing left to do was smile. thats when she lowered her eyes and and seamed to glow in what seemed to be a timeless moment you can feel a different person from the one you just experienced and in that infinite moment she said, "OK I WILL" And thats when I realized she got it. What do you think about that?

Think I've missed my calling
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. You know in the beginning all we wanted form our jobs, was money; now we want meaning. Looking for work that is more in keeping with the goals and values we have set for our life. I say thats living on/with Purpose. The truth is most of us are engaged in a life long search for, and journey toward, meaning. How many times have you heard someone say "I think I missed my calling". And how many of those people ever do anything about it? Finding meaning and looking for our mission in life is a process in which a "life change" is necessary. And while we don't know what that is, we do know for sure what were presently doing isn't it. Reach deep inside to your core and feel the peace within you, touch this place and you will know what to do.
Peace,
Reggie

What A Wonderful World It Is (repost)
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I know I haven't been doing this to long, but I had to go back and read some of my posts. I had promised myself I wouldn't go back and read or edit any of my posts, but I did. I like this post, so here it is again:
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. You never know how your life will turn. Change is inevitable and will happen no matter how much you fight it. The good thing about our brain is as much we resist the change over time you find yourself getting used to the "new way" and everything is fine again. Of course until change comes around again. Here's a thought why not anticipate change welcome it in your life and not fear it. Embrace it sooner rather than later so you can get back to that comfortable zone in your life. "What a wonderful world it is".

Just a thought II
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Everything coming from source is on purpose. Everything has a vibratory frequency, tune in to Gods frequency and you will know it beyond all doubt. The energy which creates worlds and universes is within you. It is my intention to live in a stress free tranquil life. There is nothing natural living with despair and anxiety. Stress is a desire of the ego.

Ledgers Passing
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Just a quick time out to remember a brilliant actor who's tragic end came to fast. Heath Ledger 28 years old was found dead in his soho NYC home early Tuesday morning. The actor was found in bed and nearby bottle of sleeping pills. Until a toxicology report official suspecting an overdose. Ledger leaves behind his two year old daughter Miltida. Ledger was formerly engaged to Michele Williams. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ledgers family, friends and fans. Just because the candles flame is out dosent mean the light doesn't shine.

Friends?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Do you know who your friends are? Do you have friends? Good questions right. Wikipedia redirects the word friend to the word friendship. Friendship is a term to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two human beings. What the heck does that mean? Key word for what you should look for in a friend: mutual understanding, honesty, sympathy and empathy, values, tastes, having the tendency to do whats best for the other, esteem and affection for.

Just a thought I
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Have you ever thought about what makes you, You? Is it what you do for a living? How much money you make? Is it the car you drive? Are these the things you also consider important when searching for your "soul mate". Hum? Does a "garbage man" have less of an opportunity to be happy than you. Do you think an "ugly" person has less a chance to find happiness? Are you truly happy once you have preoccupied your-self with a career for 30 years and accumulated the wealth and position. What do you think? If I told you that I believe we are all equal and all come from the same source of intention. There is something bigger to this picture. What do you say? Something to think about huh!

The Last Supper

Hey everybody, Its Reggie. My partner and I are sitting at our last official meal out of the office before the GT staff comes back from vacation. Jokingly this will probably be the last hot meal in a long time, and for the past week I enjoyed dining on anything but "CHICKEN". In the same breath it will be great to see everyone again. It becomes sort of a new beginning, maybe a way to do something new. Do one thing different is my motto. Everyday, once a week even once a month and soon it will be easier to make and notice the changes taking place. Peace,
P.S. Anthony is smiling behind the menu...LOL
Got Smile!
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Here's an exercise for you. A way to change your mood and help another person at the same time. With this exercise you both will realign with your vibration with the universe. There is a special feeling when you invite someone into your world. Something as simple as a smile changes a persons mood. It puts you and them at a higher vibration, becoming one with the universe and our source energy. This empowerment over your world becomes intoxicating because you are in control of how you feel, and when you allow yourself to connect with the source of the universe nothing is from your reach. I parking myself across from the "fix in table" where everyone must stop to put milk and or sugar in their coffee and with every person that would stop at the table I would take a second try to make eye contact and just smile. I received a tremendous sense of fulfilment from this that I have put it into every practice. This becomes part my doing something of service everyday. I hope you might find this helpful in your discovery of yourself and becoming closer with your source energy.

Reggie

Sweeney Who?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. I recently went to see Sweeney Todd the movie staring Johnny Depp and directed by Tim Burton. WOW! What a great job on the movie adaption of the original Tony award winning Stephen Sondheim musical of the same name. What I like most about this movie and others by Tim Burton is all the wonderful imagery. The whole film had this beautiful pale wash over it's gloomy gray background. The costumes of course are superb blend of the period mixed with a splash of fantasy. Brilliant performances from Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp both belting out song from the stage version. A cameo appearance from Sacha Baron Cohen, was delightful to see. I very much enjoyed this movie I so recommend it to everyone, especially JD fans it an interesting side we haven't see. The movie does have an R rating, so be advised its a little bloody. Not for young children.

Where I Work

Hey everybody, Its Reggie. It seems all that has been on my mind as well as all I have been blogging about is this "whats my life all about stuff". So I thought It would be nice take a break from it for a moment. Some of you might want to see what I do for a living or where I live and how I live, so with the Help of my trusty Nokia 800 you can experience some of the everyday me. I hope you enjoy this experiment from time to time I will updated this with a more of the inner-workings of me. Until then this is a photo of me doing my daytime thing as a banquet manager. Weird Huh...

Pondering Life

Hey everybody, Its Reggie. Just sitting and thinking in my favorite place. Doing a lot of Hmmm... The big question on my mind is, What is my life all about and how does it relate to other people? What is my purpose here on this great planet Earth. On reviewing a daily boost podcast and an interesting question was raised. Have you ever seriously thought about the rules you use to run your world? And I thought to myself for a minute. Hmmm...no. We all have our own rules that allow us to run our life. What does all this mean? Think of your "rules of the world" as the actionable interpretation of your values. In other words, your values are your compass how you want to live your life and how you get it done. So then, what's the trick to happiness? Make sure your rules support your values. If they do, you will be happily moving forward with your life.

Quoteable Quotes
What this power is I cannot say. All I know is that it exists.
Alexander Graham Bell
Take the first step in faith you don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
All that we are is a result of our thoughts.
Buddha
You create your own universe as you go along.
Winston Churchill
The secret is the answer to all that has been, all that is, and all that will ever be.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. These are all very inspiring words. Is there a common denominator at work here? What did these people and many folks today know? Well Its not a Secret anymore. Our thoughts determine our intended way of living. If you believe enough in something you will materialize it. And it does happen. Some of our great leaders and philosophers understood The Secret (Universal Law of Attraction), including my mentor Benjamin Franklin. He understood that the mind was the most powerful tool he had and used to his very much accomplished life, pursuing his passions and obligation to mankind. How many of us can are using there full potential. Be the person you want to be today. Do one thing different. I know you can...
Self-Mastery only blossoms when you practice being aware of, and responsible for, what you're feeling.

The Secret Is Out
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. A few nights ago I watched the film, The Secret. For those of you who haven't heard or don't know what The Secret is. The Secret was discovered by Rhonda Byrne after her daughter had given her a copy of the Science of Getting Rich, a book written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles. Which gave her a glimpse of The Secret and what followed was a two-month odyssey of research and investigation as Rhonda traced The Secret back through thousands of years. The Secret is a law of the universe which we all live by weather we acknowledge it or not. It is the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Its the force that guide our lives. I have been searching for guidance and self improvement (awareness) for many years reading countless books form Stephen Covey and Tony Robbins. Don Shula coaching books and How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. Think I have read them all. Adding to that years and of therapy, yoga and meditative studies. And more recently I turned to Dr Wayne Dyer, his publisher Hay House and Louise Hay the founder. There inspirational messages of love and abundance brought thought back into my world. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. This line has resonated in my head over and over again. All that I have done has lead me to this moment. A moment where I can feel this possible shift ready to happen under the surface. The Secret like In Dr Dyer books state the Law of Attraction. We manifest of lives with our thoughts and feelings. Through a cosmic vibrations that we are all connected to. When we think or feel negative we are sending a signal of negative energy to the universe there for we will get what we think of, more negative energy.
I recommend that everyone should look deep within themselves. Watch this film, pick-up a copy of Dr Dyer's books Power of Intention and Change Your Thoughts-Change Your Life (living the wisdom of the Tao). Look into a mirror and ask what you want form the universe. Believe with unwavering faith its already yours. Recieve it. Generate feelings of having it now. Begin to feel wonderful about it, feel how you would feel once it arrives.
This is truly The Secret of our life. Peace,
Reggie

What color is your elephants underwear?
Hey everybody, Its Reggie. What color is your elephants underwear? I know your thinking what is he saying? Is he crazy or something? Questions like this invoke thought. Bring to mind other questions. Like do elephants wear underwear? If they could would they? And what color would they choose? How we respond to mental exercises like these questions helps us from not always drawing upon "the experience machine" not to over think a response, not to polute it with your Lower-Self thoughts.
Which brings us to a better question how do we choose something is it random or based on some experience. HUM... and who chooses the experience? I see the mind like a wheel always spinning and rotating we filter our current feeling and emotions through this storage facility of stuff I call the "experience machine" and out come a match. right or wrong it ours. and to do so what we deem fit. Now how do we understand the disconnected links the margin for error in the experience machine.
Peace,
Reggie
